Árboles Caturra 30 Años Nano Lot Reserve
These Caturra trees that have grown in Caicedo at Finca Los Naranjos for more than 30 years, demonstrate that they are planted in a very suitable environment to express their quality potential in the cup. Delicate and complex characteristics in the cup, good grain filling (760 g/l) and very good formation of organic acids. With night temperatures dropping to 14°C, the plant has the opportunity to rest, breathe more slowly and become more resistant to oxidative stress.
This leads to a good production of organic acids, including malic acids that express rich notes of red apple, honey and peach among others. After a good harvesting process and a humid fermentation with a mixture of 5- day brewings, the delicate acidity is modulated and fragrances/aromas are defined. Finally, a careful drying process in a canopy with openings on the sides during the day results in this excellent cup of coffee.

Process: Mixed 5 “cochadas”(or loads) in a tank with water for 72 hours then washed and dried in greenhouse/canopy
Taste: Red apple, honey, caramel, peach, cocoa, raisins, chocolate
